Camping is a very exciting thing to do not only because of the activities that you can do during the day but also because it gives you the opportunity to sleep closer to nature. The problem is, sleeping and lying in sleeping bags is not really very comfortable. The solution: get a camping cot that definitely brings more comfort and convenience than sleeping bags. There are some basic things that you have to look our for in buying cots though. Because you are bringing them to your camping trips, you should get cots that are light and portable. You would not want to bring something that will be a big nuisance to you right?
Most cots are made from canvass supported by metal frames. Not all of these are created equal though. You should make sure that the cot is of good quality and can support your weight or else you may end wasting money or worse with an injury caused by a cot that has collapsed under you. Camping cots should not cost you a lot. You should not scrimp on it either. Quality should be you main concern. After all it is something that you will be using for several years.
